With years of experience teaching swimmers of all ages and abilities, I'm passionate about helping people develop water confidence and essential swimming skills. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, I provide personalized instruction in a safe and supportive environment.

Swimming Levels

Level 1

  • Beginners with no prior experience of any of the things in higher levels

Level 2

  • Demonstrate submersions, exhaling through mouth and nose
  • Retrieve an object with face fully submerged
  • Demonstrate breaststroke leg actions at the pool edge
  • Float on front
  • Float on back
  • Propel through the water for 5m

Level 3

  • Demonstrate 5m flutterkick on back
  • Demonstrate breaststroke leg and arm actions
  • Demonstrate 5m flutter-kick on front with float
  • Perform a surface dive to retrieve an object
  • Demonstrate a sitting dive

Level 4

  • Demonstrate 10m flutterkick on back in a streamlined position
  • Demonstrate 10m flutterkick on front in a streamlined position
  • Demonstrate breaststroke arms and legs over 5m
  • Demonstrate backstroke arms over 5m
  • Demonstrate frontcrawl arms over 5m
  • Demonstrate a kneeling dive

Level 5

  • Demonstrate 15m dolphin action
  • Demonstrate 15m flutterkick on back in a streamlined position
  • Demonstrate 15m flutterkick on front in a streamlined position
  • Demonstrate backstroke arms over 10m
  • Demonstrate frontcrawl arms over 10m
  • Demonstrate breaststroke arms and legs over 10m
  • Demonstrate a standing dive

Level 6

  • Demonstrate 25m dolphin action in a streamlined position
  • Demonstrate Butterfly arms over 15m
  • Demonstrate backstroke arms and flutter kick simultaneously over 15m
  • Demonstrate frontcrawl arms over 15m
  • Demonstrate 25m breaststroke
  • Demonstrate a grab start

Level 7

  • Demonstrate butterfly over 25m
  • Demonstrate backstroke arms and flutter kick simultaneously over 25m
  • Demonstrate frontcrawl with bilateral breathing over 50m
  • Demonstrate 200m of continuous swimming in any of the 4 strokes
  • Demonstrate breaststroke over 50m
  • Demonstrate a frontcrawl tumble-turn
  • Demonstrate 5m unterwater gliding on front from a grab start

Schedule

New Term 2026

  • Usually 4 students per lesson.
  • Price per Lesson 15 EUR (Total 105 EUR for the term), prepayment of 30 EUR at time of booking confirmation required, rest of payment at first lesson
  • Final course confirmation is planned for the 11th of January 2026. In case that a course can not be filled (min 3 attendees required) I could alternatively offer a 30 min private lesson for a price of 30 EUR each.

  • If you miss one lesson due to illness, you will have the opportunity to attend one replacement lesson free of charge at the end of the course. Please notify me as soon as possible. Additional replacements are unfortunately not possible and refunds for missed lessons are not available.
